The South Florida Beef Forage Agents are hosting this program to help producers learn more about vaccines and how they can get the most out of them. Throughout the evening Dr. Joao Bittar with the UF/IFAS Veterinary College will discuss the different types of vaccines and when to use each type. He will also share information related to his Beef Cattle Parasite Evaluation Project and how producers can participate. Dr. Harold Newcomb, DVM from Merck Animal Health will be with us to discuss the proper handling of vaccines and other pharmaceuticals.

Registraion will begin at 5:30 with the program starting at 6:00pm. Dinner and educational materials will be provided as part of your registration.
